This class is specially designed to meet the physical needs of people aged 50 years and over, but every body is welcome! Gentle Pilates aims to promote independence and vitality in your everyday life, no matter your age or abilities. The number of participant is kept to 5 maximum, and the exercises are tailored to their specific needs.
The main focus of the class is to support your over all physical health; especially spinal alignment, strength, stamina, flexibility and pain management.
The class includes strengthening and flexibility exercises, as well as practising deep breathing and guided meditation. In addition, we will perform exercises to further improve your range of motion, allowing you to move more freely.
This Pilates session is a low impact form of exercise and is suitable for total beginners.
