Hello, I’m Daphnee.
I am a level 3 qualified yoga and pilates teacher in Poole and Bournemouth. I teach weekly classes online and in person at the Branksome Community Centre in Poole, and I always have room for more students in my class! My classes are welcoming and dynamic, and I tailor my classes to a range of abilities to suit my students, from those who are complete beginners to those with lots of experience.
My yoga journey began 10 years ago in Montreal, Canada and I have been lucky enough to learn from some incredible teachers on my travels. These teachers, and my love for the practice, inspired me to complete my yoga teacher qualification with the HFE (2018), here in the UK.
I then discovered pilates a few years ago, whilst recovering from major surgery. This form of controlled exercise has significantly helped me to strengthen and tone specific areas, allowing me to become stronger and healthier than ever before! I completed my pilates teacher qualification in 2021.
My passion is for empowering and supporting adults of any age to take control of their physical and mental well-being. I carefully consider each person’s individual abilities to enable them to reach their higher potential.
I always love welcoming new students, so get in touch with me to find out more about my classes and how I can help you to achieve a better you.

my vision.
In these extra-ordinary and often difficult times we are all passing through, I feel compelled to connect with my community here in Bournemouth and Poole. I am passionate about giving people the tools they need to cultivate lasting, self-transformation and maintain their overall state of wellbeing.
Both Yoga and Pilates are considered incredible practices for maintaining both mental wellness and good physical health. They offer an integrative approach to strengthening the relationship between our mind and body, which can reduce anxiety and promote mindfulness and a sense of calm.
I am passionate about both physical and mental vitality and the effect a strong body can have on the mind. I am committed to sharing my love and knowledge of both practices, making it accessible for every body, at any level.
